Set off on an electric bike for a beautiful, long day exploring the Quiberon Peninsula and its extraordinary landscapes and viewpoints, in round-trip mode.

The stages of your journey:

1️⃣ Station Bee's → Plouharnel
As soon as you leave the Toul-Garros area, take the paths and small roads towards the South-West. You pass near the Chapelle de Locmaria and reach Ploemel , the first town crossed on this route.

You then head towards Plouharnel , and enjoy a well-deserved break at the site of the Dolmens of Mané Kerioned on the edge of the Auray-Quiberon axis which you cross while remaining vigilant.

A few more kilometers in the heart of the Breton countryside where you pass through many villages. As you approach Plouharnel, you will discover the Abbey of Saint Michel de Kergonan , a Benedictine monastery, with its majestic buildings. You then cross the village and here you are already at the entry point to the Peninsula, along the Anse de Plouharnel .

2️⃣ Plouharnel - Quiberon
As soon as you enter the Peninsula, you take the V45, also called La Littorale , at the level of the Remains of the Atlantic Wall of Bégo and its numerous concrete structures bearing direct witness to the role of the Peninsula during the Second World War, but also to the Chouannerie Museum where numerous pieces are exhibited retracing the history of the Western Wars from the French Revolution to the first third of the 19th century.

You will then follow the road leading to Quiberon for about 7 km on the secure cycle path, with just a small deviation at the level of the town of Penthièvre allowing you to admire its Grande Plage. You will also pass at the foot of the Fort de Penthièvre which today serves as a commando training and initiation center for the French army.

Once past the isthmus, you quickly turn right to reach the west coast of the peninsula. You will see the pretty little port of Portivy., the entry point to the Côte Sauvage with its countless viewpoints. You are off for more than 10 km of breathtaking landscapes where vigilance is still required: even in calm weather, the numerous cliffs and currents of the rare beaches of the Côte Sauvage can be dangerous. The Pointe du Percho offers an exceptional viewpoint of this stunning nature. Don't miss the opportunity to admire the sumptuous Arch of Port-Blanc at low tide. Take a break at the superb spots of Port Bara or Port Rhu , take the time to enjoy the view and the invigorating air from the small beaches and overhangs that shape the coast to the Château Turpault which marks the separation between the Côte Sauvage and the town of Quiberon. A few more pedal strokes and you'll arrive in the heart of the city in front of the Grande Plage or near the Port-Mara pier where the shuttles and ferries depart for the islands of Houat, Hoedic and Belle-Ile. Following the coast, you'll quickly reach the east coast of the Peninsula and go up to Port Haliguen , an ideal place for a lunch break after having already covered 43 km.

3️⃣ Quiberon – Plouharnel
You are now refreshed to attack the second, shorter, part of your journey. After sailing to the West on the previous stage, you will follow the East coast of the Presqu'ile, pass near the Chapelle Saint-Julien , cross Le Petit and Le Grand Rohu , follow the Kerbourgnec alignments , go past Saint-Pierre-Quiberon to reach the Littorale which will take you up to the Isthmus of Penthièvre, the inevitable meeting point on the outward and return journeys. Did you know that at this point, there is only a 22m wide strip of land which prevents Quiberon from being considered an island?

To get back to Plouharnel, you will not be disoriented because the only possible route is the one you took on the way there, namely the V45.

Once you arrive at the exit of the Presqu'île, because there is not much point in going all the way back in the other direction, you stay on the V45 to go around Plouharnel... unless you want to stop there to enjoy a good terrace and a refreshment.

4️⃣ Plouharnel → Station Bee's
That's more than 2/3 of the circuit completed and you will be able to quietly enjoy a last bucolic part until your starting point. First remarkable site of this last stage, the alignments of Sainte-Barbe remind you of the mystical and ancestral side of the region, just like the Dolmen du Cosquer , located 2km further. Between the two, the Chapel of Saint-Antoine is part of the long list of religious sites in the area, just like that of Saint-Albin , a haven of peace in the heart of the village of Hahon.

By taking the V45 again, you will follow the Mané Bogad Park before crossing Ploemel and covering the last few kilometers to reach Bee's Station in the Toul Garros area.
