Explore the Alrès countryside on an electric mountain bike, from Brech to St-Anne d'Auray, and back to Saint-Goustan and Auray.

The stages of your journey:

1️⃣ Bee's Station → Trauray Valley
After a little over 1 km from the station, you pick up the V45, also called La Littorale , which you follow towards Auray.

After crossing part of the town towards the train station, you enter the town of Brech, which you will travel in all directions throughout this technical circuit, which is therefore reserved for mountain bikes.

You leave on your right the Martyrs' field which you will find on the way back to continue to the entrance of the Treauray Valley . You turn towards the Saint-Dégan road and left again to take a dead end, which marks the end of this road stage and the beginning of the "bumpy" route.

2️⃣ Treauray Valley → Sainte-Anne d'Auray
Head towards the village of Brech along paths and trails that allow you to appreciate the flexibility of electric mountain bikes. As you leave the village, just before the small Saint-Jacques chapel, turn right towards the Brech Bridge and its recently renovated footbridge, which allows you to cross the Loc'h River.

You will then walk to the entrance of Sainte-Anne d'Auray with a first possible stop at the National Necropolis where many French and Belgian soldiers who died on the field of honor during the First World War are buried. You are then only a stone's throw from the sanctuary of Sainte-Anne d'Auray , the most important pilgrimage site in Brittany. Soak up its spiritual atmosphere by visiting its majestic basilica or stroll through its peaceful gardens.

3️⃣ Sainte-Anne d'Auray → Loc'h Valley
After this historical and spiritual break, you quickly return to the technical trails that remind you that this ride is also, and above all, sporty. You alternate between mountain bike sections that are sometimes wet, even marshy, and crossing villages and country roads that allow you to reach the next technical section.

Continue your journey to the Loc'h Valley , a preserved natural area along the river. It's the perfect place for a relaxing break amidst the forests and meadows just after crossing the river by the small bridge located below the Treauray dam .

4️⃣ Bridge over the Loc'h → Saint-Goustan → Bee's Station
Whether or not you have chosen to take a break, your journey continues along the paths and trails that will take you to the Field of Martyrs mentioned in stage 1, a site steeped in history. This natural space witnessed two major events in the history of Brittany: the Battle of Auray in 1364 and the execution of émigrés and Chouans following the Quiberon expedition in 1795.

You then join the banks of the Auray river with its magnificent viewpoints to reach the lower part of the town and the Petite Forêt district and then reach a must-see in the region, the Port of Saint Goustan . You can stroll through its narrow cobbled streets, admire the half-timbered houses and discover the place where Benjamin Franklin landed in 1776 to obtain the support of France during the American War of Independence . You leave this picturesque and very visited district by crossing its18th century stone bridge.

If you're not yet tired, enjoy the town centre of Auray , its shopping streets and welcoming squares before joining the path that will take you back to your starting point in the Toul Garros area.
